The New Hampshire Department of Transportation Research Office is located in the Bureau of Materials & Research. Our mission is to improve the transportation system and services provided to the State of New Hampshire through research and innovation, and to facilitate the implementation and delivery of beneficial technologies. The Research office is also active in product evaluations and is responsible for maintaining the NHDOT Qualified Products List. This website was created to more efficiently meet the needs of our customers and to propagate the results of successful research throughout the transportation community.

The Research Section continually seeks to identify transportation-related problems in need of a research solution. This is your opportunity to submit an idea(s) for a new research project!
