Prime contractors intending to subcontract work on federal-aid projects are required to solicit available and capable disadvantage/women-owned firms for price bids/quotes/proposals. The following Directory has been developed for the convenience of contractors attempting to fulfill their contractual obligations to this requirement; it is intended for informational purposes only. Changes in and additions to the list, or deletion of firms to the list can occur at anytime; the scope of work for the listed firms is also subject to change. A hard copy of the directory is printed annually and is available by requesting a copy from the Labor Compliance Office.
Disadvantaged firms appearing in this directory have been certified in accordance with U.S. DOT regulation 49 CFR, Part 26, which can be viewed at, http://osdbuweb.dot.gov/business/dbe/index.html.
