Peter Anderson

  • M.B.A. in Market Research from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst in 1984
  • Joined the Bureau of Construction in 1994
  • Peter is in charge of the administration and technical maintainence of the Construction Management System software program. He also engineers software for desktop, laptop, and handheld PCs for CMS and other construction-related tasks. He also aids in training and troubleshooting construction software for personnel.

Theodore Kitsis, P.E.

  • Administrator for the Bureau of Construction
  • B.S. in Civil Engineering from the University of New Hampshire in 1983
  • Joined the N.H.D.O.T. in July of 1984 for the Bureau of Highway Design. Spent 11 years in Highway Design working in Consultant Design, Preliminary Design and Final Design. Ted has been involved in numerous projects with a varying degree of complexities ranging from intersection design projects to interstate expansion projects with complex interchanges. From July 1995 to May 1998 Ted was one of the department's project managers responsible for overseeing all aspects of highway and bridge projects for the Division of Project Development. Some of Ted's major projects were the N.H. Route 101 expansion project from Epping to Hampton, the reconstruction of I-93, and the Exit 13 interchange in Concord. From June 1998 to May 2002 Ted was the Chief of Consultant Design responsible for the final design of projects requiring consultant engineering services. From 2002 to present Ted has been the Bureau of Construction's administrator.
  • Responsible for a staff of 109 engineers, technicians, and support staff who oversee the construction program for all contracts advertised by the Division of Project Development.

Shawn Murphy

  • Audit Supervisor
  • A.S. in Architectural Engineering Technology from the New Hampshire Technical Institute in 1982. B.S. in Civil Engineering Technology from Roger Williams University in 1984.
  • Joined the Bureau of Construction in 1984.
  • Shawn performs supervisory audit reviews on all construction projects and then prepares the Final Estimate for the contractor. Shawn also makes construction activity entries for the 511 traveler information system. He also provides traffic advisory information to the I-95 corridor coalition for the State of New Hampshire. Some of Shawn's other duties include reviewing invoices for consultant testing services utilized on construction contracts and managing yearly physical inventory for the Bureau of Construction.
