Parlin Field is a small municipal country airport located in Sullivan County, just one mile from downtown Newport, the quintessential New England town and home of the famous writer and woman's rights advocate Sarah Josepha Hale. Visit the town common or take a stroll across the covered bridge, located walking distance from the airport. Parlin Field provides general aviation access to businesses and recreation in southwest-central New Hampshire including the Dartmouth/Lake Sunapee Region. Parlin Field is one of New Hampshire's oldest airports and is known for friendly people and great food. Pilots and passengers are welcome to use one of the courtesy bicycles for transportation. Located just minutes from Lake Sunapee, the Newport area offers all-season activities including boating, biking, swimming, fishing, hiking, hunting and skiing.
