Aviation Exploring is a youth development program centered around aviation careers. Through this program, take orientation flights in military transports, helicopters, gliders, or single-engine general aviation aircraft; visit Air Force bases, aviation museums, air shows, or FAA facilities; learn to preflight an aircraft or take pilot training ground school classes.

AvKids is a program designed to educate elementary school students about the benefits of business aviation to the community and the career opportunities available to them in the business aviation industry.  AvKids can help transform a child’s flights of fancy into a fun educational experience that may lead to a rewarding career path. In the course of their journey, this program hopes to reinforce the values and zest for learning that will serve future aviation professionals well throughout their lives.

Daniel Webster College has a national reputation as one of the best known and respected aviation programs in the country. It is a four-year, private, nonsectarian, co-educational residential/commuter college with a primary focus on experiental learning.

The EAA Young Eagles program was launched in 1992 to give interested young people, ages 8 - 17, an opportunity to go flying in a general aviation airplane. These flights are offered free of charge and are made possible through the generosity of EAA member volunteers.

The New England Air Museum is owned and operated by the Connecticut Aeronautical Historical Association, a private, non-profit educational institution organized in 1959. Located at Bradley International Airport in Windsor Locks, the Museum is the largest aviation museum in New England.
