In September 2008, the Department of Information Technology (DoIT) was created with the legal authority to manage and coordinate all technology resources in the executive branch of government.
First and foremost, we are a service organization providing services that will endure, and create statewide efficiencies through the use of information technologies energizing government and business. We develop the IT strategic vision and provide planning and support. Our four divisions, two bureaus and two groups, supply the necessary enterprise services, technical, operational, infrastructure, and security services as well as Web and software development and services.

Department of Justice Web Site Redesign
May 23, 2011 – Concord, NH – The New Hampshire Department of Information Technology, Web Support Division, and the New Hampshire Department of Justice worked closely together to redesign the Department of Justice's Web site. The homepage of the site features sliders which highlight important topics the agency deals with on a daily basis: consumer alerts, cold case tips, environmental issues, charitable trusts, and consumer protection. Clicking on anyone of the sliders takes a visitor to a page with in-depth information on the subject.
In addition, Justice's news releases are now found on their home page, no longer will the public have to search throughout the site for them. Quick links on the home page to items such as: filing a consumer complaint, an election law complaint, and an ethics complaint can now be found along with links to resources such as the Right to Know Memorandum. We invite you to visit the Department of Justice's redesigned site.
