Currently employed as the Communication Access SPecialist ( Hearing, Vision, Speech) for the Department of Health and Human Services. Previously had been a Vocational Rehablitiliation Counselor with the Adult Learning and Rehabiltation Services in Nashua. Has been a long term member of Hearing Loss Association of America and has attended many of their national conventions. Currently is the Chairperson of the Board for Hear in NH, an agency that provides itinerant services to your children with hearing losses.

Mike brings a wide variety of experience to the Commission including: work in Child Protection, Mental Health, HIV Counseling, and Minority Health. Having over 31 years working at NH DHHS in various positions of social work, Mike has served clients directly and also in the capacity of advising DHHS with policy and administrative matters. Mike retired from DHHS in 2010 and continues his work with the Disability Community through the Commission. Bill Finn is the Administrator of the Office of Services for Blind and Visually Impaired (SBVI) within the NH Department of Education. He plans and directs the functions of education, training, vocational rehabilitation, related services to individuals who are blind or visually impaired. Prior to this position Bill was Associate Director of Community Services for the Carroll Center for the Blind in Newton MA. As Associate Director Bill supervised and developed support systems for Rehabilitation and Education service providers in Massachusetts and New Hampshire. Previously to that, Bill was a Coordinator with New Hampshire's statewide educational support program for students with sensory impairments and augmentative communication needs.
