The New Hampshire Commission on the Status of Women would like to announce the arrival of our new report, Share Your Story, Expand Your Voice, a series of regional listening sessions with individuals receiving TANF. The Commission, in partnership with New Hampshire Legal Assistance and the New Hampshire Coalition Against Domestic and Sexual Violence, met with TANF recipients from Manchester, Rochester, Keene, Littleton, and Nashua during the fall and winter of 2002. The listening sessions were organized so that we could better connect with New Hampshire TANF recipients in order to provide advocacy efforts during the reauthorization process as well as resources and programs for TANF clients and the support staff upon whom they depend.

The TANF report is meant to serve as an information piece and ends with recommendations meant to strengthen and encourage recipients so that they might better understand the TANF process and the programs and services available to them.
