An Income of Her Own – A site for teenage women interested in entrepreneurship, it includes “The Teen Business Pages” and  “Just Ask Her” forum for teens to pose questions to successful women entrepreneurs.

BusinessFinance.com – This site functions as a business funding directory, helping people locate potential funding sources for business or real estate projects.  It includes a section for lenders/investors and offers free resources (such as a downloadable workbook with step by step instructions to successfully raise capital for your business) and links to other great sites.

Digital Women - This site provides resources and tools for women to fill their business needs and become successful entrepreneurs. The site contains advice and articles for women in business as well as free membership, mailings, and information on women networking opportunities.

This is the web site for the National Education Center for Women in Business.

Economic Census Surveys of Minority - and Women-Owned Business Enterprises - This site provides economic data from surveys of minority and women-owned business enterprises by geographic area.

FEW is a membership organization working for the elimination of sexual harassment and the advancement of women in government. Membership is open to anyone who supports these goals, regardless of employment in the public or private sector. FEW is organized on national, regional and chapter levels.

Herspace – This is also a huge site, and although not strictly for business owners, it does offer some relevant articles and resources.  Other offerings include articles on finance, health, travel (e.g., “Female Friendly Chicago”), books, Pregnancy Today (a site for moms, by moms to “support”, enlighten and inspire expectant parents”), the Woman Motorist Used Car Buying Guide, a sexuality column and much more.

Home-Based Working Moms - This site is a professional association and online community of parents who work at home and those who would like to. HBWM members receive a monthly (print) newsletter; free advertising options, Hire-A-Mom directory listing, national publicity opportunities, email discussion list, private message boards, support, networking, and information.

Idea Café – The self-proclaimed “Small Business Channel,” this site offers everything from financing resources and tips to how-to-articles, chat rooms, small business links, graphic design tips for your communications and even a business horoscope.

National Association of Women Business Owners – Offers informative articles, research, interesting “Fact of the Week” section, and an extensive list of links to sites related to women business owners.

Service Corps of Retired Executives (SCORE) – This organization offers a tremendous amount of free help to people starting out on their own…personal mentors help with business plans, funding sources, etc.  Even if you don’t want this type of assistance, visit their site for practical tips and information.

The Small Business Administration runs this site for beginning and established women business owners. It includes business principles and practices, information, research, mentoring, counseling, and information on forums and financing opportunities.

This site is the online headquarters of the American Business Women's Association.

The Women’s Business Center, a New Hampshire-based nonprofit, promotes women’s business ownership as a means to maximize personal potential and achieve economic independence.

Women's Entrepreneurship in the 21st Century - A web site that features resources, information, online programs and networking opportunities for women business owners.

The Women's Institute for Financial Education site features articles on finance and investment as well as calendar of workshops and seminars.

Woman Owned is a site containing links to women-owned businesses. It also offers articles on starting or expanding a business.

Women’s Work – “The Business Site for Business Women”, this is a huge site offering advice and information on everything from business help to where to get a good computer cheap, a single parent network, fun things to do with the kids and much more.
