The goal of the ABWA is "to bring together businesswomen of diverse occupations and to provide opportunities for them to help themselves and others grow personally and professionally through leadership, education, networking, support and national recognition." To further this goal, the ABWA offers various education and training programs:
Continuing Education Credits: ABWA provides an opportunity to earn non-college credits, and obtain transcripts and certificates of completed courses.
Distance-learning Certificate Programs: Two courses are offered: the Membership training and Development Certification enables participants to accomplish facilitation skills; the Leadership Certificate Program equips participants with the skills needed to be effective leaders.
Regional and National Conferences: ABWA offers conferences led by professional speakers and educators from many industries, and features quality seminars and workshops on topics relevant to the needs of today's working women.
Educational Tools: ABWA provides a wide range of books, learning tools and pre-packaged educational programs designed to help women take control of their own professional development.
Scholarships: The ABWA, through the Stephen Buften Memorial Education Fund (SBMEF), has contributed to date more than $11 million to women's professional success through education.

The Arrinna Society of Greater Nashua
This is a non-profit organization created to empower professional women to reach for their dreams and goals. The Arrinna Society provides vision, growth, and inspiration to assist women to attain personal and professional success.
The Clinic offers a free session to business owners who need advice on problems they are having in their company. They meet after hours with a panel of senior executives who give their time and expertise to business owners across the state.
This office offers two programs especially for family-owned businesses:
The Penley Forum - focuses on businesses generating more than $5 million and employing more than 20 people.
The Shapiro Forum - focuses on businesses generating between $1 million and $5 million and typically employing less than 20 people.
These Forums are part of the Outreach Program. The Business Forum Office works mostly with family businesses that have been established for a number of generations, however, increasingly these businesses are seeing women family members take control of the family business. This means that the Forum is working with more and more women through their business education programs and their Leadership Development Program. The Forum does not directly offer funding to businesses; however, it does have sponsors to whom it could refer individuals with funding questions.

Dress for Success is a non-profit organization that provides interview suits to low-income women seeking employment. A client would receive one suit when she has an interview and another when she gets the job. There are absolutely no fees for this service. Dress for Success also created The Professional Women's Group, a professional development forum supporting Dress for Success clients who have successfully gained employment.

The SBA administers two particular business assistance programs for small disadvantaged businesses (SDBs). These programs are the 8(a) Business Development Program and the small Disadvantaged Business Certification Program. While the 8(a) Program offers a broad scope of assistance to socially and economically disadvantaged firms, SDB certification strictly pertains to benefits in federal procurement. 8(a) firms automatically qualify for SDB certification.
SCORE is an all-volunteer organization with over 100 members throughout New Hampshire. The New Hampshire branch of the United States Small Business Administration can provide you with information about planning, starting, and funding your business. The SBA runs a variety of programs and seminars and has available many publications.
SBDC services include, but are not limited to, assisting your small business with financial, marketing, production, organization, engineering, and technical problems, and feasibility studies. Special SBDC programs and community and economic-development activities include international-trade assistance, technical assistance, procurement assistance, venture-capitol formation, rural development and e-commerce. SBDCs make special efforts to reach socially and economically disadvantaged groups, veterans, women and the disabled. They also provide assistance to small businesses applying for Small Business Innovation and Research grants from federal agencies.

This organization is a statewide foundation dedicated to expanding the resources available to women and girls in the Granite State. The Women's Fund provides grants and other support to programs and projects that affect the economic, social, psychological, physical and creative well being of women and girls in New Hampshire. The fund educates women about philanthropy, while teaching the public about the contributions that women make and the barriers that women face.
