The Internet is a valuable resource in your Financial Aid Search. Statistics state that around 95% of students now use the internet for information on colleges and scholarships. If you have access to the internet, here are some web pages that may help you out. If you don't have a computer connected to the internet at home, visit your local public library.

But…
Before you start searching for scholarships on the internet, you should know what to watch out for. There are many sites that are "scams"--sites that "guarantee" you scholarships or require money to perform a search may be fraudulent. To learn more about such sites and how to determine if sites are scams, or check with the National Fraud Information Center at 1-800-876-7060.
