AT&T Labs Fellowship Program
AT&T offers fellowships for outstanding women and minority students who are U.S. citizens or permanent residents and are pursuing Ph.D. studies in computer and communications-related fields.
CWIT Scholars Program
The Center for Women and Information Technology offers scholarships to undergraduates who are interested in obtaining a degree in computer science, computer engineering, or information systems at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County. The four-year awards range from $5,000 per year to full tuition, fees, and room and board.
Department of Energy Computational Science Graduate Fellowship
This department offers up to four years of support to full-time Ph.D. students who are working in computer science, mathematics, or engineering. Applicants must be either U.S. citizens or permanent resident aliens.
Fannie and John Hertz Foundation Graduate Fellowships
This foundation supports graduate students working towards a Ph.D. in applications of the physical sciences ranging from electrical engineering to molecular biomedicine. Fellowships may be used only at certain universities. Recipients must be citizens or permanent residents of the United States.
Gates Millennium Scholars Program
This scholarship program is targeted to low-income African-American, Hispanic American, Native American/Alaskan Native, and Asian Pacific American students interested in mathematics, science, engineering, education, and library science.
GEM: Graduate Degrees for Minorities in Engineering and Science
This organization offers graduate fellowships and internships in the study of engineering and natural science, including computer science.
Lucent Technologies' Global Science Scholars Program
Scholarships offered to high school seniors who excel in mathematics and science and who plan to enter college in the fall to study communications technology. Recipients get a $5,000 scholarship and an internship at Bell Labs or a Lucent Technologies facility.
Lucent Technologies Graduate Research Program for Women
