On Monday, June 11, 2012 Governor Lynch signed House Bill (HB)1670 into law. This bill establishes new Executive Council districts based on the latest federal decennial census.

The Executive Council districts established by this act shall be in effect for the purpose of electing Councilors at the 2012 state general election.
