State House, Concord, NH Councilor Ray Burton announces NH Student Intern Program

"Since my first term in 1977-78 on the NH Executive Council there have been 134 College Interns participating in this State House Program of experiencing the NH Executive Branch of NH State Government. The work consists of responding to requests from Towns, Cities, Counties, businesses, local civic groups and citizens seeking information, relief and assistance in a wide variety of concerns, " Burton stated. Former Plymouth State University Graduate, Intern Trevor Chandler of Laconia states: "This internship was a remarkable opportunity. Learning how to navigate NH's unique government as well as helping the citizens of District One provided me with rewarding experiences I will never forget" Chandler currently is a Case Manger in Congressman Paul Hodes office.
