EXECUTIVE COUNCIL REPORT BY RAY BURTON
Here are some key dates to keep in mind for the first 6 months of 2008.
The Governor and Council have scheduled their meeting for January 16th and 30th February 13th, 27th; March 26th; April 9th , 23rd ; May 7th, 21st and June 4th and 25th. We rarely make changes but it is always wise to check the website at www.nh.gov/council to confirm.
Sunday January 20, 2008 at 5:30 PM at the Concord Grappone Center there will be a retirement party for Anthony “Tony” Maiola who retired as Chairman of the NH Liquor Commission. Tony has truly been one of the hard working commissioners in State Government.
The District One Health Council meetings are scheduled for February 1st in Moultonborough, February 8th in Whitefield, February 29th in Lebanon, NH. Anyone interested in serving on these discussion groups please contact my home office at 747-3662 or email me at ray.burton4@gte.net
February 8th and 9th the N. H Farm and Forest Show, Manchester, NH
February 22nd begins my “Tours of District One” with a daylong snowmobile tour with Director of Bureau and Trails, Chris Gamache.
Sunday, March 2nd the awarding of LPN degrees at the NH Home for the Elderly, Glencliff, NH.
Saturday, April 19th is the Annual Flying Yankee Rail Restoration Dinner, Concord, NH.
