EXECUTIVE COUNCIL REPORT BY RAY BURTON
It is touring time again! Each year, as Councilor in coordination with various high profile New Hampshire State Departments, I conduct tours of projects and attend events here in District One. We have already done the Trails Bureau Snowmobile Tour consisting of 55 miles of trails in and around Gorham and Berlin, New Hampshire.
Other tours/trips I will be doing this summer and fall will include the New Hampshire Army Guard summer training tour, Parks tour, Fish and Game projects tour, Farm/ Agriculture tour, Forest tour, Transportation projects tour, small airports tour, Cultural and Historic resources tour, Environmental projects tour, Senior Citizens Centers tour and Railroad Marketing Day.
These are informational tours for myself, Legislators, and State agencies and their staff to learn and observe out here in District One-where the "rubber meets the road!" We actually have fun doing them and it is a way for us at the State level to thank the local agencies and townspeople for their cooperation.
