Benjamin O'Leary, Senior at PSU is the 140th Intern to earn academic credit at the State House Office of Executive Councilor Ray Burton. This internship,authorized by Dr. Michelle Fistek for 3 academic credits is one day per week at Burton's State House Office and Grafton County Commissioners Office. The duties include representing Burton at various functions and meetings throughout the region and responding to a wide variety of requests from citizens, towns, cities, counties and businesses. Councilor Burton and Ben are shown putting together a mailing.
"Ben O'Leary gained valuable real life experience in the public arena both at the county and state government level. I am proud he is the 140th intern since I first entered public office as a Councilor in 1977." Burton stated. |
