Franconia Notch - Councilor Ray Burton (left) was out plowing snow on Jan 12 in Franconia Notch I-93 with NH DOT Butter Hill Patrol Shed Ass't Patrolman Mark Lavoie (right). "I always find it very informative to spend time with NH State employees on their jobs to see exactly they do. Mark Lavoie was a great teacher in how 83 lane miles is plowed and treated in a snow storm in Franconia Notch with salt and sand and how computerized the entire operation is. We all can be proud of our state employees in their work" Burton stated.

Charlestown, NH. - Councilor Ray Burton (right) attended the Fort #4 Traditional Thanksgiving dinner here and is shown with Paul Trueax and Fort Director Terry Baker. "Fort #4 has a great future here in the Connecticut Valley and beyond. We in NH State Government look foreword to doing whatever we can to enhance the goals and mission of this historic facility" Burton stated.
