GOVERNOR AND EXECUTIVE COUNCIL MINUTES

The Governor and Executive Council convened at 9:15 a.m. with Councilor Spaulding, and Councilor Wieczorek in person and Councilor Burton, Councilor Griffin, and Councilor Wheeler present via teleconference.

DEPARTMENT OF ADMINISTRATIVE SERVICES
#1 The Governor and Councilor on motion of Councilor Burton, seconded by Councilor Griffin voted to authorize the request to enter into a contract with Connecticut General Life Insurance dba Cigna Health Care, Hooksett, NH, to administer the State's health insurance benefits under an ASO plan for state employees and retirees for the period of October 1, 2003 through June 30, 2005. The cost of this contract is $13,255,237.

Next Governor and Executive Council meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, October 8, 2003 at 10:30 a.m. at the State House in Concord, NH.
