September 15, 1997 2:00 p.m. The Governor and Executive Council convened at 2:00 p.m. with all members being present.

The Governor and Executive Council authorized the dates for two special elections for State Representative in Hillsborough County District No. 33 and Rockingham County District No. 35 for December 9, 1997. The primaries will be held on November 4, 1997.

The Governor and Executive Council, on motion of Councilor Spaulding, seconded by Councilor Streeter, accepted the minutes of the September 4, 1997 meeting.

The Governor and Executive Council, on motion of Councilor Burton, seconded by Councilor Spaulding, confirmed the appointment of several persons nominated for Civil commissions from the September 4, 1997 meeting.

The Governor placed in nomination the several persons who applied for Civil Commissions.
