GOVERNOR AND EXECUTIVE COUNCIL MINUTES

The Governor and Executive Council convened with Councilor Spaulding present; Councilors Griffin, Colantuono and Wheeler were present via telephone conference. Councilor Burton was absent.
BANKING DEPARTMENT
#1 On motion of Councilor Spaulding, seconded by Councilor Griffin approved supplemental bond resolution attached to letter dated August 31, 2001 authorizing the issuance of up to $100 million of turnpike revenue bonds, 2002 refunding series. Further authorized the State Treasurer to execute accelerated purchase contract with an underwriting group of Goldman Sachs, Merrill Lynch, Morgan Stanley, and Salomon Smith Barney. A roll call vote was requested, the results are as follows: Councilor Burton - Absent: Councilor Spaulding - Yes: Councilor Griffin - Yes: Councilor Colantuono - Yes: Councilor Wheeler - Yes.
The Honorable Board then adjourned.
