GOVERNOR AND EXECUTIVE COUNCIL MINUTES
State House, Concord, New Hampshire
July 22, 2003 8:30 a.m.
The Governor and Executive Council convened at 8:30 a.m. with Councilor Spaulding and Councilor Wieczorek present in person and Councilor Burton and Councilor Wheeler present via teleconference and Councilor Griffin absent.
DEPARTMENT OF RESOURCES AND ECOMOMIC DEVELOPMENT
#1 The Governor and Council on motion of Councilor Wieczorek, seconded by Councilor Burton, authorized to exceed the 3/12th limitation for accounts as listed on the analysis, as specified in letter dated July 16, 2003. Fiscal Committee approved.
DEPARTMENT OF ENVIRONMENTAL SERVICES
#2 The Governor and Council on motion of Councilor Wieczorek, seconded by Councilor Spaulding, authorized to transfer $171,500, as specified in letter dated July 16, 2003. Fiscal Committee approved.
FISH AND GAME DEPARTMENT
#3 The Governor and Council on motion of Councilor Wheeler, seconded by Councilor Burton, authorized to exceed the 3/12th limitation for accounts as listed on the addendum as specified in letter dated July 16, 2003. Fiscal Committee approved.
SWEEPSTAKES COMMISSION
#4 The Governor and Council on motion of Councilor Wieczorek, seconded by Councilor Burton, authorized to purchase instant gaming tickets for distribution from July 1, 2003 through December 31, 2003 in an amount not to exceed $1,328,278, as specified in letter dated July 16, 2004. Fiscal Committee approved.
NH COMMUNITY TECHNICAL COLLEGE SYSTEM
#5 The Governor and Council on motion of Councilor Burton, seconded by Councilor Spaulding, authorized to exceed the 3/12th limitation for the federally funded accounts as specified in letter dated July 16, 2003. Fiscal Committee approved.
DEPARTMENT OF SAFETY
#6 The Governor and Council on motion of Councilor Spaulding, seconded by Councilor Wieczorek, authorized to transfer $70,370, as specified in letter dated July 16, 2003. Fiscal Committee approved.
Next Governor and Executive Council meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, August 13, 2003 at 10:30 a.m. at the State House in Concord, NH.
