New Financial Statement Filing Procedure for Mortgage Bankers, Brokers and Servicers
|
|
|
|
- Mortgage bankers, brokers and servicers will no longer file their fiscal year end financial statements in hard copy with
the Department. Beginning with fiscal years ending12/31/08, companies whose statements would have been due in the
Department in hard copy within 90 days of that fiscal year end must upload their financial statements directly onto the
NMLS on or before March 31, 2009 to avoid the $25-per-day late filing penalty. It is anticipated that this function will
be available on the NMLS on or about March 9, 2009. Companies with fiscal years ending subsequent to 12/31/08 will then follow this new filing procedure. Check the NMLS website for further information.

- 361-A:8-a,III(c) - Disposition Fee Calculation for Balloon Contracts:
January 1, 2006 through December 31, 2006, the disposition fee shall not exceed $311.56.
January 1, 2007 through December 31, 2007, the disposition fee shall not exceed $321.53.
January 1, 2008 through December 31, 2008, the disposition fee shall not exceed $330.53.
January 1, 2009 through December 31, 2009, the disposition fee shall not exceed $343.09.
