The New Hampshire Board of Acupuncture Licensing (NHBAL) was created in 1997 and entrusted with the task of ensuring that "acupuncture and oriental medical therapies practiced by qualified persons are available to the people of New Hampshire." (NH Statute 328-G:1 II(b)).
NHBAL issues new licenses and renewal licenses to qualified acupuncturists in New Hampshire, and is responsible for the ongoing regulation of our licensees in order to protect the public health, safety and welfare.
On this site you will find information for the public such as a list of all the practitioners currently licensed in the state, information for new Acupuncture License Applicants, information for Licensed Acupuncturists, and information for educators.
The board, which is made up of four Licensed Acupuncturists and one
public member, is mandated to meet at least twice a year,
but currently meets quarterly – generally in March, June, September
and December. Board meetings are open to the public. If
you are interested in attending please contact firstname.lastname@example.org for
the time and date of the next meeting.
